Biography

After earning my Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University in 2014, I have been working to develop engineering solutions for autonomous systems across academia and industry research settings. My research focuses on multi-agent cyber-physical systems and their algorithms, allowing them to make intelligent decisions in active and uncertain environments. This research is driven by real-world applications such as environmental monitoring, maritime systems, precision agriculture, and search and rescue operations. I aim to create a more intelligent world that people can safely and confidently thrive. I explore cutting-edge technologies like decentralized sensor fusion, edge computing, machine learning, autonomous robotics, and mechatronics to achieve this goal. Taking this integration of disciplines further requires collaboration from all branches of engineering – something I'm striving for every day!
