Duke Energy Grant to Fund Renewable Energy, Diversity Efforts at NC State

Duke Energy CEO, President and Vice Chairman Lynn Good announced today a $2.5 million grant to North Carolina State University to support research in renewable energy and efforts to attract and retain underrepresented groups in the university’s College of Engineering.

ECE Students Awarded GOMACTech Best Paper

March 30, 2015

Eric Whitmire, Tahmid Latif and their research advisor Dr. Alper Bozkurt have been awarded the Best Student Poster Paper Award for their paper titled “Cyber-physical Network of Terrestrial Insect Biobots,” and presented at the 39th Annual GOMACTech Conference, Charleston, SC on March 31-April 3, 2014.
