Biography
Dr. Bottomley is semi-retired from industry, teaching part time in the ECE Department. He spent almost 20 years with Ericsson Inc., performing applied research in wireless communications, including equalization and interference mitigation. He then spent almost 10 years with Northrop Grumman, working in various areas of signal processing including geolocation. He is a member of the IEEE and has served as Associate Editor and then Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology.
